How to Prepare for your First Aid Course
The First Aid Centre likes to help participants in First Aid Courses to be prepared for training courses so that the attendees can get the very best out of the course.
We recommend the following;
- Arrive 15 minutes before the course starts so that you get a good seat and all people are ready to start on time,
- Wear comfortable clothes - Remember that you will be learning skills that will require you to kneel, bend and flex, such as CPR and treatment of Unconscious people.What to bring;
- Bring a full bottle of Water,
- Bring an old blanket, as it helps make practical skills more comfortable,
- Bring a cushion as some seats are, at times, uncomfortable
- Have a book, notepad or folder to write in,
- Bring a pen to write with,
Please tell us if you have any needs the we should know about;
- Do you have any allergies?
- Do you have a medical condition that we should know about?,
- Do you have an illness or injury that might limit your ability to undertake First Aid skills such as CPR?.
